The project
A key place in the history of Limoges, Place de la République has benefited from an ambitious development operation. It has now regained its primary role: a place of life and connection between neighborhoods and residents, where it is good to live, work, have fun…
Echoing the richness of its past and the excellence of its industrial know-how, the entire place displays the theme of ceramics: a large carpet of “porcelain concrete” adorns its center, and Les Eclaireurs, lighting designers, chose the Juliette model from the “Ceramic” lamp-posts range, to illuminate spaces.
A combination of two noble materials, aluminum and ceramic, this range was imagined by designer Marc Aurel, designed and manufactured by Technilum in its workshops in Lézigno, in Occitanie.
