The project

Luxembourg’s Place Hamilius is part of the Royal Hamilius project in the capital’s city center. This project meets a major challenge: the creation of an urban district in the heart of the city center, while preserving the history of the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Shops, services, offices and housing, parking spaces as well as pedestrian zones, green spaces and a streetcar line have all been created, promoting soft mobility and offering residents a dynamic, interconnected and pleasant living environment.

The public lighting of the Place Hamilius, sometimes uniform and soft, sometimes more contrasting, is provided by our Structure K masts, made of aluminum. Their technical rails make it easy to attach and adjust floodlights and low-tech or high-tech accessories, such as signage or CCTV, for multifunctional lighting.

Structure K is a range of poles exclusivelly designed to support any kind of light fixture or any accessories (signage, bins, camera…). The positionning of these elements can be adjusted precisely and easily in height thanks to the technical grooves integrated to the pole. Technilum’s universal mounting bracket combines discretion and flexibility. Adaptable to all kind of floodlights, it mounts easily and offers very precise beam angle adjustment capabilities thanks to its +/-100° rotating head. It is suitable with Technilum’s mast range equiped with technical groves.
