What is the “Prêt-à-Poser” range?

“Prêt-à-Poser“, by analogy with “ready-to-wear”, is a collection combining design, efficiency and long-lasting, available in several configurations (height, number of arms, lighting characteristics, etc.), always with the impeccable quality of finish which is the Technilum® hallmark.

Designed to facilitate installation (complete, light, pre-wired models, etc.), the “Prêt-à-Poser” collection complies with the latest decrees on light pollution. In addition, it allows close control of lighting (dimming, presence detection, etc.) and offers a wide range of possible accessories.

We are (very) often referred to as the “Haute Couture” of lighting. That’s simply because we’ve always worked with project managers and owners to create “custom-made” lighting fixtures.

“Smart-In-Site”… What does it mean?

Smart-In-Site is a complete range of smart, connected services, perfectly integrated to Technilum’s lighting columns. It includes CCTV, speakers, sensors, etc… Beyond lighting!

Whether it’s for CCTV, sound system, signage, recharging stations, USB sockets or detection…, the principle is to use the streetlight’s functionalities so that its function is not limited to lighting alone. Pooling services is the first intelligence in public space!

Where are Technilum products manufactured?

All our standard or custom-made lampposts, bollards, lighting columns, luminaires and floodlights are manufactured in our factory in the south of France.
With an integrated design office, a factory integrating the various stages of machining and assembly, and an ESD room dedicated to our luminaires, we can design and manufacture all your products, and support you at every stage of your project.

What is aluminum extrusion?

Extrusion is an industrial process during which an aluminum billet (a large solid log of aluminum obtained from alumina powder extracted from bauxite) is heated and extruded (pushed) through a die (a specific tool for each profile shape).
We control every stage in the manufacture of our lighting columns. Thanks to solid, long-standing partnerships with our suppliers, they hold the tooling we design specifically for our street lighting applications.
Extrusion is a heavy industry. Few sites in Europe are capable of producing our profiles, which require large, high-capacity presses.

What materials are used in the manufacture of lighting columns?

Aluminum, which is 100% recyclable over and over again, is our material of choice for the manufacture of our public lighting columns. Our aluminum is 75% recycled and offers numerous advantages such as longevity, robustness, lightness, upgradability and maintainability, high technicality…

How do I get a quote?

If you are already in contact with one of our sales representatives, you can contact them directly to request a quote.

How long will delivery take?

For our “Ready-to-install” range (standard products), we deliver your orders in 6 to 8 weeks, from design to manufacture. For your customized projects, we’ll need a little more time… But it’s all a question of complexity. If we have to create new tooling, we are bound by these deadlines. Ask us and you’ll find out.

In most cases, we make our own deliveries, with lead times varying according to destination. We also have loading docks for export and containers.
Our delivery times range from a few days (France, border countries) to a few weeks (overseas).

Are your products compatible with my country’s standards?

All our lighting columns are CE certified (compatible with European standards), and most are also CSA/UL certified (for Canada and the USA). When it comes to any country-specific standards, we provide personalized support to adapt our lighting furniture to your project, your specifics and your needs.
